HOW IT WORKS
Make the hours
easy to check.
Break minutes come off the shift. Paid breaks should stay within worked time.
Hours above your selected weekly limit are shown separately. Confirm local rules before payroll.
WORKED EXAMPLE
47.5 hours, with the minutes accounted for.
Load example fills five 09:00–17:30 shifts with 30-minute breaks (40 hours), plus a 22:00–06:00 overnight shift with a 30-minute break (7.5 hours). At $20/hour, a 40-hour regular limit and 1.5× beyond that limit, estimated gross pay is $800 + $225 = $1,025. These are editable arithmetic settings, not a statement of legal entitlement.
The summary shows both decimal hours and hours/minutes: 7 hours 30 minutes is 7.50 hours, not 7.30. Print or download CSV before closing this page; entries are not saved between visits.
QUICK ANSWERS
How do overnight shifts work?
If clock out is earlier than clock in, the end is treated as the following day. A shift cannot be 24 hours or longer in this tool.
Can I use this for payroll?
It provides arithmetic totals from your inputs. Local rules for overtime, rounding, breaks, holidays and records vary; verify them before payroll.
Is my time card saved online?
No. Entries stay in the current browser page. Print or export the card if you need to keep it.
